AK700 by Echo-1 USA

The AK700 by Echo-1 USA is the newest model in the Red Star line of AK variants. It is fully licensed by Rifle Dynamics, and is built to impress. The AK700 is built completely from steel, and is solid as a rock.

The AK700 has a folding stock that locks into the left side of the lower receiver. When folded, the stock does not interfere at all with the pistol grip or magazine release, preserving the gun's efficiency even with the shorter length. With the stock folded, the AK700 is perfect for getting around tight corners or transporting the gun in smaller spaces. Unlike many other guns with folding stocks, the AK700's stock does not wobble at all while in its normal position. It is just as solid as the rest of this incredible gun.

Included with the AK700 are two 500 round high capacity, waffle type AK47 magazines. The magazines are constructed of a heavy polymer, with ridges across its entirety for constant grip. The AK700 is also compatible with many other AK47 magazines, including high- capacity, mid-capacity and flash mag variants.


The AK700 comes with rails on the gas tube, designed specifically for low profile optics. A concern with AK47's is their lack of extremely accurate iron sights, so adding a red dot sight to the gun is a great advantage. Additionally, by keeping this rail perfectly flat on top of the gas tube, Echo-1 & Rifle Dynamics have added a designated space for optics, so purchasing an AK-47 rail mount is not really necessary. However, the AK700 still has the capacity to add top rail mounts, which would be better for any sight with magnification.

We recommend the Firefield Micro Red Dot Sight or the NcStar Tactical Micro Red Dot Sight with the AK700, as they offer fantastic panoramic views, while keeping an extremely low profile on the gun.




The battery in the AK700 is stored in the upper receiver, on top of the gearbox. This gun is designed to fit a stick type 8.4 or 9.6v battery, and can also fit a buffer tube 7.4 or 11.1 lipo battery. The AK700 has a standard Version 3 gearbox, and is compatible with all V3 parts.The AK700 is Lipo ready out of the box, and has a large delayer on the sector gear specifically to ensure flawless BB feeding . The gearbox has 7mm steel bearings designed for preventing over-spinning or double shooting when using a Lipo battery.The AK7000 uses a sliding hop-up mechanism that is standard on most AK47's with V3 gearboxes. The hop-up is accessed by pulling back the charging handle and holding it back.
